whenever I open internet explorer and go to file menu ---> page setup option
---------> paper size it shows " Letter" and i want to set it as "A4" by

You need to change that on the printer setup properties:
http://mercury.soas.ac.uk/it/docs/gu.../papersize.htm
Then go to the page setup on the IE and set it to A4, does it stick to A4?.
