I have four editing programs for pictures.

I have done it dozens of times before.
Now, brain block.

How do I set the default "open with" settings to the program I want?

You can change the default program association by going into the control
panel for programs. Click on "make a file type always open in a specific
program". Find your program extension and select the appropriate program.
Beware however. I don't know how to change it back to the default once you've
manually changed it to something else.
