Sorry but I can't seem to get an anwer so I'm going to ask again. I need to
re-set the SYSTEM.MDW security file in Access 2007 back to the original, from
the factory settings, but I can't find the default SYSTEM.MDW. I know how to
run the Workgroup Administrator, but I don't know where the initial, from the
Factory, first time used, microsoft default location of the default
SYSTEM.MDW that comes with Access 2007

Can anyone tell me where it is or if it is even used?

Thanks Dweezil

I don't have 2007 installed, so I'm not sure if it is even used.
Suggest you use Start, Search and locate *.mdw on your hard drive; be
sure to include hidden and system folders in the search.

I have Access 2003, it is located in C:\C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Access;

of course replace username with your own.
