This is getting me nuts... When I generate a new mail, the color of the
character’s default color always returns to be such that I
cannot see the text (probably white)... I must select the text and change
the color each time... this is some thing that began with 2007 install...

I’ve tried going into the options menu, “fonts” and changing it there. No
help.... Also on the options tab, themes, no help...

Pls help...

Brain..Thanks for the reply...

I'm using "blank" stationary, it's on that window found through the optins
tab that I have selected the font, color , etc... but it doesn't hold..

Also when people write me in difernet colors, (incoming mail) outlook does
not display it so that I can read it, again, I must change that color or
background too, even though I have it set up to html.. Please advise... many
thanks...gi

Hi,

I got my solution, not sure if it works for you.

exit Ms Outlook 2003

control panel --> accessibility options --> display--> uncheck "use high
contrast"

Start Ms Outlook 2003

Good luck!
