Hello,

I had to do a complete reinstal of Windows due to problems with boot sector.

Previously I had a folder called "My Own Documents" that I used and only "My
Pictures" folder would appear in it on occasion.

However, I have now got the standard "My Documents" folder which has in it
"My Ebooks", "My Music","My Pictures", "My Received Files", "After.reg",
"Original Reg".

I'm sure I never had all these before when I had my laptop new. Can I remove
any of them via a Windows prog etc ? Is their a web address I could refer
too ?

Thanks

Mike.

PS: I am the administrator and sole user.

The first three are normal system files and should not be deleted.
"After.reg" & "Original Reg" are probably back-ups related to the
registry.
If your installation was not a Clean Installation, they could be
back-ups of the previous installation.

Change the location of the My Music or My Pictures folders
Contributed by Larry Samuels

In Windows 2000, Microsoft added the ability to right-click
the My Documents folder and choose a new location for that
folder in the shell. With Windows XP, Microsoft has elevated
the My Music and My Pictures folders to the same "special
shell folder" status of My Documents, but they never added
a similar (and simple) method for changing those folder's
locations. However, it is actually pretty easy to change the
location of these folders, using the following method.

Open a My Computer window and navigate to the location
where you'd like My Music (or My Pictures) to reside.
Then, open the My Documents folder in a different window.
Drag the My Music (or My Pictures) folder to the other
window, and Windows XP will update all of the references
to that folder to the new location, including the Start menu.

<End Copy and Paste>
