Whenever I right-click on a picture from the web to save it, my system
always opens a specific folder to save it in, which is a directory NOT
of my chosing. How/where can I change the default for this folder
permanently to a different one on a different disk drive?

I have long suspected that I am not too bright, but this degree of my
stupidity is enough to last me for all of 2010. Thank you for the
simple answer — an answer which should have been obvious to me. Sorry.

Don't be so pessimistic - 2010 is a whole new year, and you will have
many opportunities to do other dumb things - just like the rest of us
:-)

Sometimes in the heat of the moment - or of panic - what should be
visible somehow isn't...
