Hello.

I'm having trouble with setting up default file locations
for my Win2k Terminal Services users when they go into MS
Office 2000 apps (Word and Excel). I am not sure how to go
about doing this. As it is, I am using their Terminal
Services tab in AD to connect them to the share in
question. However, from there they have to navigate to
their files. I know this is probably something easy that
I'm missing, so please excuse this newbie question. I'm
not getting any replies on any other site and info seems
to be scarce.

Thanks for any info.

The easiest way is to get the .ADM files (templates) included on the Office
Resource Kit (they get copied by default to WINNT\INF or WINDOWS\INF when
you install it) and then create a Group Policy to do that using these
templates.
This will allow you to set the drives and much more under Office.
