Am unable to set FP as a default editor for html. That option isn't
available in Internet Explorer tools, options programs
Using win XP, MS Office 2k and FP 2k

If you have Windows XP ....
Find a HTML File on your computer.
Then "Right click" on the file.
Then go to "Open with" select "Choose Program"
New window opens......
In the top window select "FrontPage" and just below
put a check mark in the box that says
"Always use this Selected Program to open this kind of files"

No, sorry but that did not work. IE was the default for viewing webpages and
setting FP for viewing doesn't work. Need to find a way to set it for
editing.

OK Open FrontPage then
Tools | Options
New window | Configure Editors tab
In the left pane select "htm, html, dhtml, dwt....
In the right pane select FrontPage then check the button for "Make Default"

Actually, that makes FP default for all html viewing files. I just want it
as the default editor.

OK Open FrontPage then
Tools | Options
New window | Configure Editors tab
In the left pane select "htm, html, dhtml, dwt....
In the right pane select FrontPage then check the button for "Make Default"
