Hello

Can someone tell me how to change the default directory of
FP from my documents/my webs to something else?

Basic question but I just can't figure it out.

Thanks

You can't, you can however set FP to open the last open web or use File Menu
| Open Web / Site to select the correct web (folder).

If you are comfortable w/ backing up and editing the registry you need to find and change the value for the string value
"DefaultWebName" in the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Settings
