Hi, I've got a Samsung CD-R/RW SW-248B drive installed, and
it works fine at reading cd's, it's quite fast. It displays
the name and model and everything under device manager. My
only grief is that I can't get it to burn a CD. I have
tried Nero, Roxio, Easy CD creator and the windows default
cd-writing software. Funny thing is, Windows recognizes it
as a burner. I go to Samsung's web-site and e-mail them,
they tell me that the Windows default driver will handle
all burning chores through any programs. In fact, they do
not have an available driver for this model. I bought the
product OEM thinking the deault drivers or Samsung's tech
support would cover me, and I was wrong.
