Although I have set Firefox as my default broswer in Windows XP, when I
click on a link in outlook express, I am taken to IE to oprn the webpage.
Does anyone know how to assign Firefox as the default browser within Outlook

Done all that, but still outlook express insists on using IE...!!!!

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Set Program Access
and Defaults | Click on the downward-pointing arrows to the right of the
configuration that's already checked | Browser: Select FF here (not "Use my
current...").

NB: If you installed IE7 or IE8, OE won't be happy with FF as the default.
