I have a Canon camera, and recently Adobe has decided to be the default
application for importing photos from my camera to the PC. When I plug my
camera in via the USB, Adobe now launches and takes over, instead of Zoom
Browser EX.
I consider myself to be fairly computer-literate, but cannot find out how to
cancel this and switch back to the Canon's Zoom Browser app, which I
preferred.
All help gratefully received!
Cheers
Mike

If the setting is available for that camera, while it is connected --
Control Panel-Scanners and Cameras- select the camera's icon and
right-click -Properties. The applications that can be selected to open
should be on the Events tab. If present you can set the default program
here.

You are talking about file associations here. Help & Support describes 3
ways to change them. The last way involves a registry edit.

Another poster suggested yet another way which seems to me to be specific to
the particular software for this camera. Since I don't own one of them, I
have no knowledge of the software.
