I am trying to program outlook very little for our own use.

We are using shared outlook Address book.

I want following funcionality.
1. I am using shared addressbook over the network.
So that all users get same contacts list.

2. However when i RIGHT-Click, Items in Inbox,
and say lookup outlook contacts, I get Item not found
msg.

3. Actually that item is present in the
shared address book

4. I have already made my shared address book as default
address book from all the locations

thnx in advance.

Pl. help.

How exactly are you trying to share this address book over the Network?
Usually you need Exchange.

We have also tried using exchange for doing this:

Steps taken:
1. Created a public folder with SharedContacts as folder to contain contacts.
2. In all my outlooks, i have made SharedContacts as Default address book.
3. Now from any body's outlook, if i RIGHT-CLICK any INBOX item and
say lookup Outlook Contacts, it says contact not found.
4. Whereas the contact is there present in the SharedContacts.

I hope i have made myself clear.
