Hello

I´m having a problem when a try to use a Deep Share on a non-DFS root, what
is supported since W2k.

Case:

File Server: Windows 2003 cluster
The users have a home directory property this: \\server\username$
Problem: 50k shares, something like 2h to finish de failover process

I´m trying to use a deep share, so I´ll not need do share subdirectories
The home property i´ll be \\server\share$\username
The users don´t have read permission on share$
The users have the traverse folder/file ntfs permission

What´s happening :
I´m using a vbscript to change de user homedirectory property, the change is
"ok" when you look at AD. The script also verify NTFS change permission to
the folder

When the user logs he receives that message:
Your home directory is h: \\server\sharename$ and your folder home directory
is username, and when you click at folder receives access denied

Otherwise

When I change de AD homedirectory property manually, it works fine

Any help please
