decoding Event 50 and status code

I am running Windows XP pro sevpak 2 I am getting this error a lot. When it
gets to a point that I can not run windows, I go back a few days and I can
then keep runnig windows for a while the I have to do it again. I have try to
troubleshoot this as for as I can. Now I need some help decoding this error.
In event viewer this what I get.

Event ID 50
Category none

{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for
the file. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a
failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please
try to save this file elsewhere.

I have no way of decoding these number so can some one gave me a hand at
this?
