There's not a lot to go on here <g> but my advice is that you don't need
decoder software for your drive, you either need a driver for your hardware
decoder or a software decoder for your computer. Neither of these is
specific to a particular drive.

I also have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-C2402 and recently upgraded to WIN XP
and now it will read programs CD's but will not save or play DVD's.
Plug n play said it could not find the proper upgrade to make it work.

Any help would be appreciated. What is this upgrade and where do I
find it?
