Decimal Align Table Contents

Is it possible to decimal align numbers in a table? I noticed on the ruler
that there is a decimal align tab stop, but I don't know how to use it in a
table. First, tabbing sends the cursor into the next cell so I don't know
how to make use of the tab stop. Second, I can't figure out how to set the
tab stop for the whole column. It seems to only apply to the cell I'm in.
Perhaps there is a totally different method. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Erin

CTRL+Tab adds the tab stop, but you have to apply it cell-by-cell. (This is
one of my pet peeves in PPT.)
