as the Url implies, the article/list was written when sp2 was very new, but should still be
current. Another good page applies different formats (such as for newer SP2) to settings
in a table:

Unlike other webpage recommendations which want obscureware to function via loose
IE settings, these recommendations seem to favor user privacy. :-)
I used these as beginning settings, then (for TRusted zone) I clamped down as much as
i could to have winupdate still usable. If you set your updates to perform completely
automatically or semi-auto, then the Internet Options seem to be irrelevant. I believe you
don't even need v4,v5/winupdate in your trusted zone.
In some ways i like being able to set for different sites. I'm not sure if Firefox has an
extension to allow some sites to use javascript and keep most, unknown, sites from
using anything besides straight html (and CSS)
