Ok, I know the difference between the two, so this isn't my question.

Whenever I switch between the two, the net ide hangs for a very long period
of time, each time I switch between the two. What is going on behind the
scenes to cause this?

Is it normal? I have a very high performance system.

Actually, as of this writing, I've been trying to switch between the two -
and it still hasn't released my app..... this is much longer than normal,
but definitely a good example.

So, when this new release of VS.net comes out - am I going to have to pay
full price again ??????? Better not! I'm going to be considering it more
of a bug fix, than a version release.

A further point/question if I may; why do I have sometimes have to re-add a
reference if it is a dll not a project?
