A friends pc stopped working so I took a look at it.
It would fire up and then die after a few seconds. Popped in a new coms battery. Used my psu. Used a stick of my memory. Took out gfx card and ran onboard gfx. It would fire up and die after a few seconds. Took out all ram ..... and it would fire up and keep running. Of course nothing on the screen but at least it did not switch of. Have I got a mobo with faulty ram sockets ?? Any ideas folks.

Tried one stick
