Hi

I have a company who have 2 PC's which currently do not have valid product
keys associated to them so I purchased 2 valid ones for them. The 2 PC's are
running XP Pro

I have tried to place these keys onto the system but for some reason they
keep failing & was wondering do I need to deactivate the invalid keys (by
modifying the registry) & then activate using the valid keys

or

do I do a XP repair option on these pc's, will this ensure that the 2 PC's
then have valid keys?

I have tried using the Xppid but this did not work so would appreciate some
assistance

Many thanks

The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for
users attempting to change their current non-genuine Product Key
to a genuine COA sticker or genuine Product Key - all without a reinstall!
