I am trying to script a reg punch that will add the network service to the
netman security group within the launch and activation permissions with
local activation checked under the allow field. I am currently doing the
entire thing manually on a per server basis. I am doing this by going to the
run box and typing in dcomcnfg which opens up the component services MMC. I
then drill down through component services/computers/my
computer/dcomcnfg/netman then right click on netman, go to properties, click
the security tab, then under Launch and Activation I click edit and then
"ADD". Once I click add I get a security login that I cancel and do the same
when I click on locations. I choose the local machine and then type in
network service "enter" and then allow activation under the allow column.
Does anyone know how to script this or what the reg punch might be????
