DCOM error while printing across a network

I have a network with a DHCP server. When I try to print
from a Windows 2000 Professional system to a Windows 98
system which has an HP845C printer, the Windows 2000
system doesnt respond until the print job goes through to
the printer on the Win98 system. The Windows 2000 pc has
the win2k drivers for the printer (HP 845C)
Looking in the log, this error pops up every time a print
was attempted.

"DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer
RECEPTION1 using any of the
configured protocols."

Reception1 being the PC with Win98SE

Any help is greatly appreciated.
