DCOM Config Folder Suddenly Missing Most COM Objects

I am running WinXP SP2.

I originally had all sorts of COM modules displayed in the Component
Services MMC "DCOM Config" folder. Suddently - most of them have
dissapeared.

I need them urgently (e.g., Various MS-SQLSERVER objects are missing,
despite
the fact that SQL Server is installed, etc.).

Please help. or redirect me to a more relevant forum.
