We have a server currently running Windows 2000 SP4 and
all the clients machines are 2000SP4. For some time the
error log on the server has been filling up with DCOM
10009: "DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer %
COMPUTER% using any of the configured protocols." These
errors only appear for the workstations when they are
shutdown. I have looked at eventid.net, on microsoft and
nothing has fixed it. I have no datagrams in my default
protocols, and this is not a exchange server and we don't
have one. Does anyone know what is wrong?
