DcDiag error looking for a fix

I ran dcdiag on my win 2k server sp4 and received the following error:

Starting test: Advertising
Warning: DsGetDcName returned information for <servername of
original GC> when we were trying to reach <servername of this machine>.
Server is not responding or is not considered suitable.
......................... <servername of this machine> failed test
Advertising

I have located article 296951 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/296951/en-us
however it states that this was fixed in sp3. Does this fix work sp4?

Any other insites?
