Database Results Error
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open
registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x1010 Thread 0x12f0
DBC 0x229ff84 Jet'.

Whilst editing and saving an on line Access db via FP the above error has
occurred. I can no longer open the db.

Any suggestions for a "cure" the db also has an associated recordlock file
within the folder as a filename.ldb

Thanks
M

That is why I always recommend that you first export the database to your desktop from FP, then open
is directly in FP, then when finish, do Tools | Database Utilities | Compact and Repair (Access),
then re-import the database back into your current open FP web, then delete the .ldb file.

Export the database to your desktop, then open in Access and try to run:

Tools | Database Utilities | Compact and Repair

Then re-import and then delete the .ldb file.

Some times is just not possible to retrieve a corrupted database, but you might want to post to the
Access newsgroup for help.
