I would like to burn Cd's and DVD's from my Hi8 video recorder. Will a
dazzle 85 do a sufficient job or will I need additional software to
burn a DVD. I was planning on using MS Movie Maker. Thanks. -Steve

The dazzle will connect by usb I think, in which case MM will not work with
it. You should get pinnacle studio software with the dazzle which will work,
and will be a complete capture/edit/burn app.
MM does not support dvd burning, it's purely an editing app.
Only think to be aware of with the cheaper end of analogure capture devices
is that audio and video can often go out of sync.
If you have lots to do, consider getting a better make,

or consider getting a digital camcorder which has analogue in and supports
pass through.
