daylight savings pro blem east coast

      28th Oct 2007
emails going out and coming in are showing an hour behind since we did not
change clocks in NY...how do I go to windows update...I get automatic
updates.this same thing happened in March when we went forward several weeks
earlier.

what version of Windows are you using? if this has been a problem since
march, you either did not install the new time zone updates or use an older
versions of windows.

I have windows 2000...so if you can help tell me what to do to install the
new time zone updates, appreciate

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914387

Just so you know, Microsoft didn't release a software update for Windows
9x/ME/2000 operating systems. However the link above contains a section
that helps you create a .REG file that can be used to update Windows 2000.

if http://support.microsoft.com/gp/dst_hu2?systemlist=w32 does not bring up
the instructions, use the wizard at http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst
to bring it up.

thanks so much, truly kind o fyou. Funny I thought probably it was only week
now that I would have to deal with this, and evidently I was right. But
