Dates note entered in Outlook Contacts Note section

I have entered notes uner the Contact section of Outlook 2007 and the date
and time the notes were made appeared above the notes. Should I create a new
contact or add notes to existing notes, the date no longer appears. Is it
possible to have the date appear every time a new note is added in the Note
section of the Contact?
