Dates are different with FrontPage2002?

No, I'm not talking about going out with someone...

I have a series of PDF files I create from AccessXP
reports. While the date of the pdf files are ok in
WinExplorer, they keep the date of the report creation
date in the Modified Date of the Folders View in
FrontPage, and won't publish because FP thinks they are
older than the ones on the server!

What's going on here? Why and how is the date of the
report being kept at the original report creation date?
I've never seen anything like this...

Rich

You need to create/save your PDFs outside of the FP web, on your desktop,
etc., then open the FP web in FP, and import them.

Ok, Thanks Thomas,

It worked ok last year...now it's different this
year...Hmmm...but I can create them (a few dozen files)
outside, then create a bit of code to move the pdf's from
the folder where they are created to the FP web folder...

Thanks for your help,

Rich

They need to be imported into the web, via FP so that the hidden FP index
files are updated or you must run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlink, which
doesn't always solve the issue.

Or if you have saved them into your FP web from outside of FP, running a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks when you reopen FP will
usually cause FP to recognize they have changed and update the FP meta data to allow them to be published
