I recently upgraded from Office 2002 small business to Office 2003 Pro, I
failed to catch that it changed my system date 6 months into the future until
I started receiving responses to email sent over the weekend. Now I have 3
days of email dated at the end of this year which makes sorting a pain. Is
there anyway to change the date stamp on existing email to match the actual
dates they were sent and received?

Instead of using the Received column you can use the Sent column to sort
correctly.

Actually the received email was date stamped by the server so although the
chronology of the email is not correct the sort of the inbox is not a
problem. My sent items on the other hand are date stamp by my system in
Outlook and that is where my problem is, I have email that will show at the
top of the sort for another 6 months.
