date format reversed when merged into word

's Computer Specifications

I have created a database which has a macro that merges an enquiry into word.
All the merge fields work, however the date has been reversed and I can not
find out how to change this

Please help

In your query, use the Format function (not the Format property) to format
your date however you want it to appear.
