I am trying to get a blank record Date field to default to
date created. How do I get today's date (or the date
record is created) to automatically fill in the field? I
will want to print labels later on using a query for
today's date. Thanks!

With the table in Design View, set the column's
DefaultValue to = Date()

Hope This Helps

Hi Gerald. Thanks so much for your response. However, I
am not having any luck (?) I don't know what I'm doing
wrong. Should the field be set to Date or Text type?
