Outlook 2003/Windows XP Pro SP2/SBS2003/Exchange

Outlook's default date column format of 'Best Fit' includes the Day and
Time. Apart from giving me more information than I need, the dates don't
line up neatly. So I change it to dd/mm/yyyy format which does the trick,
or appears to, but then it keeps reverting to the default. I think it does
this after using the Find feature.

Is this a known bug?

Is there a way to prevent this happening or change the default?

You can try saving it back to the default Messages view.

View > Arrange By > Current View > Define Views

Highlight the Messages view, click Modify and make your changes there.

You may need to re-apply the Messages view (View > Arrange By > Current View
> Messages) for the changes to show up.

Thanks TB.

It appears to have worked but I won't know for sure unless it stays that
way. It wasn't the Find that was causing it to revert, so I don't really
have any idea what action was doing this.
