DATE CHANGING ON ATTACHMENT PREVIEWS

When I am sent an attachment (this one happened to be a Word document) the
date content of the attachment changes. For example, I was sent a Memo that
was dated for October 2006, when I opened this attachment, the date on the
memo stated 1/12/2010. Now, I need to show this email to someone of when I
received but it looks like I have manipulated the attached memo.

Has anyone had this problem? Please help.

Thanks,

Dee

I think this is a MS Word issue.
The person who wrote the memo set it up to use the current date
so that whenever it is opened (in Word or Outlook)
that is what shows.
Your only option is to alter the date.
