date and time lost error

i by accident set my date too far back and now my computer
won't start.. it gets to the setup menu and freezes and i
can't access dos or anything .... any help with this,
overriding the date or this screen would be so great
thanks...

Try removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes and popping it back in. You
should be able to change the time from the built in BIOS setup utility after
that.
