In datasheet view, I can only see about 150 characters in a field. Although
I know the data is there, I have been entirely unable to view the rest of the
data in the field, making it very difficult to edit anything at all. It has
not mattered if it is a text field or a memo field. I've tried using arrow
keys, scrolling, end, etc., all to no avail. Can someone help me?

Click in the field, then press Ctrl+F2 to get the zoom window. Do you see
the data then?

Sorry, meant to type Shift+F2 -- not Ctrl+F2.

Type Shift+F2 to get zoom box.
