Anybody point me to a good site which will explain the above to me, and also
explain how to use it for binding tables etc etc?

It's the VB.Net Resource Kit. It's a big download; but, well worth it if
you have the connection or the patience. Plenty of samples, although, it
may take a little while to find exactly what you're looking for.

MCN,
I'm not sure of any sites. I would recommend David Sceppa's book "Microsoft
ADO.NET - Core Reference" from MS Press. As it is a good tutorial on ADO.NET
as well as a good desk reference once you know ADO.NET.
