DataGrid with images or image + text columns?

This is really simple to do on the desktop since you can override the Paint
method of the DataGridTextBoxColumn, but the Paint method isn't supported
under CF v1.0. Has anyone implemented a (clean) solution for this, or knows
of a 3rd party who sells one?

take a look at http://www.resco-net.com/ - they seem to have what you want.
I've no experience of using the control, just seen it
