Datagrid - double click & select the entire row

My aim is "select the entire row when the user clicks on a cell in the row
AND then catch the double click"
I can do it separately .eg I can get the double click on any cell but fail
to select the entire row.
OR. selct the entire row but fail to catch the double click.
Anyone can do it both sucessfully ??
