Datacommand objects?

I am new to VB/.NET
What are datacommand objects? Can I use them instead of Dataset to access
database and make changes to database?

KpsSoft,

It is another name for the group where in is OleDbCommand, SQLCommand,
ODBCCommand.

You need them to get a Dataset although, they are than added to (included
in) the dataAdapters.
