Recently I have been asked to configure a Datacard sp55 which prints employee
id cards. I have been told that at one time it did work properly. Howvever
there was a issue not related to the datacard printer, a help desk technician
advised the enduser to delete her java "web" start. As a result we continue
to receive a error message that the "twain device is not found". Also the
program we are using is able to print the sample employee badge. However
when attempting to print our customized badge the printer does not respond.
Keep in mind that before java was removed the custom job printed fine. NOTE:
java web start has been reinstalled. Has anyone else had this issue. Your
input would be greatly appreciated.
