DataBrowser 3.2.3 - A cross-database, cross-platform data access tool.

About:
The DataBrowser is a Java-based tool for browsing virtually any database.
It has been tested with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/Postgres, MySQL,
DB2, and MS Access (among some others). It requires a Java 2 runtime
environment. The DataBrowser allows you to execute dynamic SQL, import and
export data, view the schema in a treeview, and view query results in a
table view.

Changes:
This release adds minor bugfixes related to Oracle, data editor deletion,
and "save/save as".

Release focus: N/A
License: Freeware
Project URL: http://freshmeat.net/projects/databrowser/
Tar/GZ: http://freshmeat.net/redir/databrows...l_tgz/download

Regards
Gordon

This is relative to the above. I see Java-based, or uses Java in some of
these program descriptions. Generally, can these programs run in W98SE
with the older version of Java built in, with no other plugins or
additions?

TIA

Good question Mike! Sorry can't help - you may have to d/l the latest Sun
Java run time. The MS implementation is seriously borked anyway. Part of
the reason Microsoft lost the court case with Sun.

Thanks, Gordon. I keep things simple, so I'll pass up those fancy
programs.
