I produced a database for my local car club which displays each member's car
in their record. The database was created in Access 2003. It works fine on my
desktop PC and also on the membership secretary's PC. However, even though I
have the same version of Access installed on my laptop, I can't get it to
display any jpg images. I've even tried to just create a form with a jpg
image on it and Access refuses to recognise it. What can be the difference
between my PC and laptop installs?

Thanks Arvin, that's fixed the problem.

Your second link gave the answer. The difference between my desktop PC and
laptop was that the laptop had never had a previous version of Office,
whereas I upgraded from Office 2000 on the desktop, meaning that Photo Editor
was installed. The link states that Access uses this program as an OLE server
for the various graphic file formats. So now jpg files are displayed without
any glitches!
