hello, I am looking for a temple or database/spread sheet that can accept
multiple training dates for multiple individuals and notify us at 90/60/30
days out ( yellow/orange/red color change for example)

Can you use conditional formatting in Excel?

To my knowledge Conditional Formating does not exist in Excel as is. It
might be possible to create some VBA code that automatically changes the
formating properties for the cell(s). I would post to the Excel
newsgroup as you might get a bit more assistance there. Additionally,
the users there would probably benefit from the thread.
