Database Switchboard Errors using 2003 Database on Access 2007

We are moving to Office 2007 on a Vista PC, from Office 2003 on an XP
PC. All our databases are therefore built on access 2003. I have set-
up Office 2007 with a trusted site for the location of the 2003
database, and set macros to enabled, however upon starting up the
database the Switchboard buttons fail to show?

I'm at a lose as what to do, and have been informed that our agency
will not convert 2003 files to 2007 versions, so we will be able to
share files with the rest of our community, without problems...... but
I can't open the 2003 database on our Test machine.

Appreciate any suggestions as to a fix.

Thanks, Pete

Pete;

Move to SQL Server and keep everything in one place.

Troubleshooting Access security BS is just a waste of time.

On Vista I believe you have to right-click on msaccess.exe and select Run As
Adminstrator. You might also have to do the same to the short cut.
