I want to use BCM 2007 in an envoirement with SBS 2003 R2.
I plan to install SQL-Server 2005 on the sbs for this.

I do not want to install outlook for this on the server(my Windows admin
says Exchnage may be corrupted then).

So how to set it up?

(MS pages yust tell the firewall and so on but this is not the problem)

Testszenario on a Laptop:

SQL-Server 2005 instance normal
SQL-Server instance installed by BCM, there builded a database, backed it up
(by Server Tool) an retsored in normal instance.
Client can not connect (even as windows Admin).

So how to get it running?

Thanks for every hint to whitepapers or so

Wolfram

In "Re: Cannot access the database server?"
by sholson@....

I found a link to this blog:
http://blogs.msdn.com/bcm/archive/20...-database.aspx

and there to this MS page:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
for downloading an Tool.

Will try this imedeately.
