Hi,

I have an MS Access 2003 (ADP) project. While editing code I noticed
the cursor was getting erratic so I shut access down and restarted the
computer.

When I load this ADP now Access comes up with no Database Object Window
(the window that contains all forms, tables, queries etc.). The
application still runs correctly but when I drop into design mode
there's nothing to work with.

It's as if I;ve locked myself out - yet I can click on teh "code"
button and it will bring up the last VBA code I was working on.

I can't find a setting that will allow me to display or not display the
Object window. I;ve run a "compact and repair project" but no changes.

I think I'm going to have to go back to my morning backup or create a
new blank project and import all forms and code.

Was there an easier way? Please post anyway - it might help somebody
else.

If Amy's idea doesn't work, try hitting the F11 key which does about the same
thing. If that doesn't work, go to Window, Cascade. It just might be off
screen.

I tried both -- Found Windows|Unhide greyed out (disabled) and F11
didn't help either (as you probably expected).

Since Windows|Hide was available - I tried that then Unhide but no
joy.

You gotta love access!

(my solution was to create a new ADP and import forms, reports, macros
and code and I'm back in business).

It might be that the database container window was simply moved so far
offscreen that you'd have to scroll way over to find it. That happens
sometimes, for no reason I can discern. In that case, you can click
Window->Cascade to get it to reappear in the visible window.
