I put a one-step security on the database I created than
deleted the secured.mdw database put still have the non
secured database but every time I try to open the the non
secured databse it gives me a workgroup error message.
Please help do not have a back-up to this database.

Actually the .mdw file contains the workgroup
informations...

Are you sure the database you are trying to open is really
non secure ? If it is, then try to join the system.mdw
file using the workgroup administrator program.

Did u secure your database using the wizard? If so, it has
left a non secured copy with a .bak extension. You can
open this one I guess. And still in case u used the
wizard, the mdb file you're trying to open is secured, but
u need the proper mdw file to open it.

If you don't have a backup file, you will have te re-
create the secured.mdw file exaclty as it was created
(same user/company/WID)
